Pinware River Provincial Park is located in southern Labrador on the Labrador Straits on Route 510, 40 km east of Blanc Sablon. A ferry crosses from St. Barbe on the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland to Blanc Sablon, Quebec. The 68 hectare park covers diverse terrain and vegetation and is located on a scheduled salmon river. Red Bay National Historic Site, home to a 16 century Basque whaling station, is nearby. This is the only provincial park campground in Labrador. Route 510, 40 km east of Blanc Sablon. The Pinware River Provincial Park campsites are open seasonally.
