Oastler Lake Provincial Park is located just outside Parry Sound. It boasts a beautiful beach and is a great place to spend the day swimming or having a family picnic. Boating and fishing are popular day use activities. Watercraft rentals, such as kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, are available at the park office, subject to availability. An off-leash beach area is a great place for those with dogs. Oastler Lake offers premium waterfront campsites. There are 5 campgrounds that can accommodate equipment ranging from tents to large trailers. Campsites include parking for one vehicle with additional parking a short walk away. Beachside Campground has 24 electrical sites, including pull-through sites for larger trailers. Lakeview Campground offers 18 waterfront campsites. The Point Campground is radio- and generator-free and offers ten walk-in sites on Hemlock Peninsula. Campsites include parking for one vehicle 100 to 300 metres away. Riverside Campground has 18 large electrical sites along the Boyne River. Hardwood Hill Campground offers 24 electrical sites in a mixed deciduous forest near the pet exercise area. Please note that railway tracks near the park are used frequently.
