Overview North Abutment Campground is located on the north end of Grenada Dam on Grenada Lake. The campground is an excellent destination for boating and fishing. The region is steeped in history, with an array of civil war landmarks. In summer, Grenada Lake is home to the annual Thunder on Water Safe Boating Festival. Featured events include concerts, a youth fishing rodeo, tractor pull and fireworks display. Recreation In addition to general lake activities like boating, fishing, picnicking and sailing, the region boasts a sports complex, baseball fields, an 18-hole golf course and a fitness trail. Facilities This modern campground is equipped with 88 RV site pads, each with a parking apron and 50 amp electric and water hookups and campsites #2-88 are equipped with sewer hookups. All sites are reservable thru recreation.gov. The lake is accessible via nearby boat ramps, found just outside of the campground. The campground also has an amphitheater in Phase 1. Natural Features The campground is on the north shore of Grenada Lake.
