Nagagamisis Lake is at the centre of this quiet northern park. Surrounded by Boreal Forest, the lake’s name in the Cree language means “lake with fine, sandy shores”. The park offers both day use and car camping opportunities. Known for excellent fishing, the lake also provides great boating and paddling opportunities for kayaks and canoes. For anglers, the boat launch area also has a fish cleaning hut and a smoker, and those with waterfront campsites can often pull their boat on shore near their campsite. The park rents motorboats, kayaks, and canoes. The campground lies on the southern shore of this 15 kilometre-long lake. Car camping is available at two campgrounds in close proximity to hot showers, a laundromat, and flush toilets. No electrical sites are available. A number of campsites have easy access to waterfront. The day use area features a sand beach with a playground.
