Overview Macks Creek Campground is a very popular small campground just 25 miles from the Boise area along Arrowrock road off Highway 21 operated and managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The campground is reservation only May-September and closed to vehicle traffic the remainder of the year. Visitors make the trip to enjoy quality seasonal recreational activities like boating, swimming, camping, fishing, and hunting. Regular seasonal drawdowns occur each year which impact the recreational activities available at Lucky Peak Lake. Verizon LTE is now available at the Camp Host site to make online reservations. Recreation Boating, camping, fishing, swimming, water sports, hiking, biking, picnicking, and much more! The lake offers family-friendly outdoor recreation opportunities for both travelers and residents of the urban Boise area. Macks Creek Park offers scenic views and convenient access to lake recreation. Anglers fish for rainbow trout, Kokanee and smallmouth bass. A boat ramp is located within the campground. Facilities This primitive, small park offers a handful of campsites on the shore of Lucky Peak Lake.
