The forest is named after 500-acre Pike Lake which borders the western edge of the property. Visitors enjoy the swimming beach and large lakefront picnic areas, as well as hiking the forest trails and Powder Hill, a 1,350-foot glacial kame with panoramic views of the property's unique glacial topography. Family campsites, two shelters and an amphitheater are reservable.
