Verified by agency

Halfway Lake offers day use, car camping, and backcountry camping opportunities. A large, shallow sand beach occupies the shores of Halfway Lake adjacent to the campground and day use area. Four hiking trails, from easy to challenging, make Halfway Lake one of the best hiking spots in the Sudbury area. The campground features flat, private sites and some can accommodate large trailers. The Wild Rose campground features campsites with electrical service and is located close to the main beach. It also offers a small number of waterfront campsites. The Hawksnest campground offers both electrical and non-electrical campsites. The north end of the Hawksnest campground offers quiet campsites within a short walking distance to hiking trails. The south end of Hawksnest offers non-electrical campsites that are close to the main beach and playground. There are also a small number of waterfront campsites. The park's backcountry offers two canoe routes (Antrim Lake and Bailey Lake) and one long-distance hiking trail (Hawk Ridge Trail).
