Finlayson Point offers day use, car camping, and roofed accommodation opportunities. The park is an excellent base for paddlers, boaters, hikers, and anglers to explore Temagami region. The Campground offers many electrical campsites which can accommodate equipment ranging from tents only to large trailers. Amenities such as water taps, comfort stations, and laundry facilities are close by. The Temagami Cabin is located on the shore of beautiful Lake Temagami and sleeps up to six people. Finlayson Point has two day use areas. Two small, sheltered beaches are found at the northeast corner of the park. The boat basin, with launch, docks, playground, picnic tables, and picnic shelter (available to rent) are located at the northwest corner. The boat basin provides access to Lake Temagami and its thousands of kilometres of shoreline and 1200 islands. Nearby White Bear Forest Conservation Reserve has six hiking trails through old growth pine forest.
