Spring, Summer, Fall Awenda offers over 30km of trails with varying degrees of difficulty, including barrier free trails and accessible viewpoints. There are four natural beaches, including a designated pet friendly beach, that wrap around the shoreline of Georgian Bay providing day use swimming opportunities. Note that no lifeguards are present at these swimming areas. For more information on trails please visit www.ontarioparks.com/park/awenda and select the activities tab. Winter Awenda offers 17km of ski trails and over 19km of snowshoe trails for winter recreation. Trails begin at the Trail and Activity Centre which is the only available parking lot during the winter season. At this location is a rustic log cabin, equipped with a woodstove for warming up.
